Experience
Dr. Bahareh Elahian is a science advisor with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She has experience in electrical and computer biomedical engineering, signal processing, machine learning, artificial Intelligence, and programming/coding in multiple languages.
Dr. Elahian interned at Johns Hopkins University and Thomas Jefferson Hospital. Her Ph.D. thesis examined seizure localization and detection in human brains, which included working with animal models in the study of neuro-modulation and the effect of the ultrasound on seizure initiation and propagation.
In addition to her Ph.D., Dr. Elahian has master’s degrees in telecommunication and signal processing and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. She participated in a Master of Patent Law Program (MSPL) at the University of Minnesota for one year.
