May 26, 2022

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Shira Shapiro has been recognized in the Minneapolis Jewish Federation’s Pearl Society 2022 Women of Intention Awards as a Woman of Promise.

The Women of Intention Awards honor women who respond to injustice with intention, applying their personal grit and gifts to some of the most difficult issues facing our community and the world.

Shira is an attorney in the firm’s Minneapolis office who focuses her practice on trusts and estates, helping clients navigate the complex world of inheritance and other wealth management conflicts. She represents a wide variety of clients, including individuals and families, beneficiaries, charitable organizations, guardians, conservators, and more. Shira handles cases in Minnesota and in courts across the country.

Committed to her local community, Shira serves as Chair of the Twin Cities Cardozo Society’s Public Service Committee and volunteers her time as an attorney for The Advocates for Human Rights. Shira has been recognized by the Cardozo Society for “outstanding legal achievements” on behalf of the society’s pro bono clinics and has been repeatedly been named a “North Star Lawyer” by the Minnesota State Bar Association for providing at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services in a given year. She has also been named a “Minnesota Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.
