Science and Engineering Advisors
Part of Acumen Powered by Robins Kaplan LLP®
To best protect and defend innovation in litigation, our clients need representation that combines courtroom mastery with deep technical expertise. Over the last two decades, Robins Kaplan has built an in-house team of scientists and engineers to keep our attorneys and clients at the forefront of technological advancement and the fast-evolving intellectual property landscape. Our team holds Ph.D. degrees in a range of the scientific and technical disciplines that underpin many of our clients’ core technologies.
Because science and engineering permeates patent cases and other intellectual property matters, our in-house scientists provide technical assistance and insight at every stage of representation in complex IP cases, including monetization of IP assets, as well as trade secret protection and litigation. Many of our science advisors are also registered as patent agents to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
