Any supplier or manufacturer that uses sales reps in Minnesota should understand the Minnesota Termination of Sales Representatives Act (MTSRA) because it could have drastic consequences for their businesses. Contracts between suppliers and their reps may mean very little once the MTSRA is factored in. And the MTSRA’s rep-friendly provisions recently became even harder to avoid thanks to an amendment that went into effect last August. This webinar provides an overview of the MTSRA and suggests possible strategies for manufacturers and suppliers wishing to avoid its statutory penalties.
