Christopher Seidl Named to BTI Client Service All-Star Team
February 12, 2015
MINNEAPOLIS (February 2015) – Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher Seidl, a Partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, has been named to the elite BTI Client Service All-Star list for 2015. BTI Client Service All-Stars are identified by clients for “delivering the absolute best client service”. Mr. Seidl was nominated for his work in Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation. The ranking places him among what Law360 called the “Cream of the Crop Litigators” in the country, and he is one of only 25 Intellectual Property attorneys selected nationwide.
The annual ranking by The BTI Consulting Group (Wellesley, MA) is based solely on interviews with General Counsel and key decision makers at the world’s leading organizations. The BTI interviews focus on six factors: client focus, innovative thought leadership, exceptional understanding of the client’s business, outsized value, legal skills, and outstanding results. No attorney or law firm can lobby to be added to the list, self-submit nominations or provide names to be interviewed. The only way to be named a BTI All-Star is for in-house counsel to single out an attorney, by name, for client service excellence.
Over his fourteen-year career, Mr. Seidl has earned a reputation as a versatile high-stakes trial lawyer. He leads the firm’s Global Business and Technology Sourcing dispute resolution practice. He has been lead counsel in every type of intellectual property dispute— patent infringement—copyright infringement—trademark infringement—trade secret misappropriation—and rights of publicity cases. He has tried several cases to verdict, including a patent trial win that was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court last year. And he is a recognized voice and thought leader in intellectual property and technology litigation, and has been published in news sources such as Bloomberg, Corporate Counsel, and The Wall Street Journal. In addition to intellectual property and technology litigation, Mr. Seidl represents corporations in other high-stakes matters such as contract disputes and fraud matters. Companies of all sizes have retained Mr. Seidl to resolve some of their most complex and sensitive business disputes.
