July 18, 2019

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Steve Brand has been named a “Senior Statesperson” in the area of Private Wealth Law in the 2019 edition of Chambers USA. The “Senior Statesperson” ranking is reserved for distinguished practitioners, deeply admired across the profession, who are regarded as vital to the firm.
Brand is the only “Senior Statesperson” recognized in the area of private wealth law in the state, and the Chambers listing includes quotes from several members of the Minnesota legal community. “He is fantastic,” enthuses a source, adding: “He is a good lawyer who is completely client-focused.” Another market insider reports that “he is part of the old guard – he is one of the pillars of the estate planning community in the Twin Cities. He is extremely well respected.”
Well known for his extensive work in estate planning and trust and estate administration, Brand has counselled individuals and their families, trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, guardians, conservators, business owners, closely held family enterprises, non-profits, and charitable organizations in all aspects of estate planning and succession planning. He has previously been named a “Minneapolis Trust & Estates Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers and a “top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers.
