Partner Glenn Danas Earns Appellate Law Specialist Certification
September 1, 2021
We are pleased to announce that Glenn Danas, a partner in Robins Kaplan LLP’s Los Angeles office, has earned certification as an Appellate Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization and the California Bar Association.
Less than 1% of California attorneys are certified specialists. In order to become certified as an Appellate Specialist, attorneys must demonstrate a high level of experience in the field, pass a lengthy written exam, have amassed extensive specific continuing legal education, and be favorably evaluated by attorneys and judges who are familiar with their work.
Danas has over a decade of experience in appellate litigation and major motions. He has argued over 40 appeals and briefed dozens more, in most divisions of the California Court of Appeal, in the California Supreme Court, and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as in other state and federal appellate courts throughout the country.
Danas has been recognized for his accomplishments by multiple organizations. He was named to the Daily Journal’s “Top 20 Attorneys Under 40” list, and was named a “California Rising Star” by Super Lawyers each year from 2015-2020. In 2017, he was named one of the “Top 100 Attorneys in California” and received recognition among the “Top Verdicts and Appellate Reversals for 2017” by the Daily Journal. Danas also received California Lawyer Magazine’s coveted “California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) Award” in 2015.
