Tim Purdon Named Treasurer of the National Association of Former U.S. Attorneys

Robins Kaplan is pleased to announce that Tim Purdon has been elected Treasurer of the National Association of Former United States Attorneys (NAFUSA). Purdon has served on the Board of Directors of NAFUSA for the past three years.

NAFUSA was founded in 1979 to promote, defend, and further the integrity and the preservation of the litigating authority and independence of the office of the United States Attorney. The association also provides a forum for education and continuing professional relationships which have been formed with the Department of Justice.

Tim Purdon served as the United States Attorney for the District of North Dakota from 2010 to 2015. During his tenure, he was selected as a member of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and named Chair of the Attorney General’s Native American Issues subcommittee. Purdon serves as co-chair of the firm’s American Indian Law and Policy Group and Government and Internal Investigations Group, leading complex criminal investigations and high-stakes civil litigation.
